Clark campaign creates 17-minute film reminiscent of Bill Clinton
Edited on Wed Dec-10-03 04:18 PM by wyldwolf
Pardon if this is a dupe. Didn't see it posted three pages back...

Democratic presidential hopeful Wesley Clark, trying to use his biography to connect with voters just as Bill Clinton did in 1992, is starring in a 17-minute campaign film that chronicles his Arkansas upbringing and decorated military career.

The film, "American Son," was produced by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, the same filmmaker who produced several such pieces for Clinton, including the celebrated 1992 convention film "The Man from Hope." Bloodworth-Thomason, an old Clinton friend, also produced the TV series "Designing Women," "Evening Shade" and "Hearts Afire."

NOTE: Linda Bloodworth-Thomason was/is (still?) working on the film adaptation of "The Hunting Of The President" - about the 10 year campaign by the rightwing to take down the Clintons.

1. Brilliant move!
Clark is coming on strong!

If the Clintons endorse, he could win handily!

5. It Should Be Available on or After the 18th
This is one of the keynotes of the house parties, I doubt it'll be released to the public until that time.

4. Great news about "The Hunting of the President"
What a great great book. It goes a long way to exposing the inner machine of the VRWC. When is the film due out? It will be fun to watch the right wingers try to get it censored.

7. I'll always appreciate Bloodworth-Thomas because of
Designing Women. She managed, for the first time in television history, got SOUTHERN ACCENTS CORRECTLY!!!

You'd think it would be easy, but it's really very hard to fake properly.
