Poll question: How many candidates should drop out after New Years?
That's when the money numbers start to come out.

1. 3, CMB, Kucinich, Sharpton
Lieberman will probably have enough $$$ to stick around a while longer.

2. Why?
Didn't you think they contributed to the debate?

3. they've contributed enough, we know who they are, we know where they stand
but there time has come, now they must gracefully bow out and leave it to the candidates that do have a chance. Frankly speaking, the longer we have the nuts and controversial dems front and center, the more it hurts us.

5. Well, I know about 25 people personally...
...who are just starting to become aware of Dennis Kucinich and his campaign, and they are very excited about what they're learning, so I think there's plenty of reason for him to keep going.

As for calling CMB, Sharpton, and DK nuts, what was nuts about anything any of them said tonight?

That's a good time to reevaluate.

7. Are Any Of The Fringe Candidates Bringing In New People?
I know several Greens who like Kucinich and, because of his candidacy don't even want to think about a Green candidate. I know several demoralized veterans who support Clark or Kerry and otherwise would not even listen to the debates of get involved in politics. Is there any truth to the idea that having nine candidates representing a spectrum of constituencies, socio-economic/ethnic backgrounds, and views is mobilizing a much larger group of people to follow politics at this stage of the election process?
