McGovern's Republican opponent in the election was later nearly impeached and forced to resign.

2. Close to What Pat BUCHANAN Said About Shrub
that like NIXON in '72, Shrub will win in a landslide but will crash and burn in the 2nd term.

3. Only if the Congress is Democratic
Without a Democratic Congress, we're totally screwed if Shrub gets back in. With Dean as the Democratic nominee, Shrub is sure to get back in. I am not confident in a Democrat majority Congress. Folks, we are truly screwed. Perhaps it is time to join the Republican Party and just cede that there IS no viable second party in the USA. Maybe, if we all join the Republicans, we can get the crazy right wing religious nuts to migrate to whatever Pat Buchanan comes up with.
