The following was said:

"The counting of the votes that are of questionable legality, does, IN MY VIEW, threaten irreparable harm to petitioner (BUSH), and to the country, by casting a cloud upon what he (BUSH) claims to be the LEGITIMACY OF HIS ELECTION."

So said Tony The Fixer Scalia

To my fellow proud liberal Democrats, Dean or Clark or Kerrey et al are not the enemy. Let us save some energy for the real fight we must win.

1. So that was three years ago today
A very ignominious anniversary, indeed.

2. Good point, BOSS...
I'm not fighting ANYBODY but DUB, personally...

Al Gore did something today that I disagree with...on timing, intent, and on purpose. That doesn't make me think any LESS of Al Gore, and it also doesn't change my mind about who the best (announced) candidate for our Party is next year.

In addition, I DON'T think Al Gore did it thinking he'd endorse a "sure loser" this time so he could run and win in 2008, either--really; I don't!x(

Sure, it's a big "B-12" boost to Dr. Dean, there's no doubt. As to whether or not it's enough to "do it" for Dr. Dean--that's very much YET TO BE DECIDED, IMO! How can ANYONE with a sound mind say "it's over" when the first caucus and primary votes are over six weeks from being cast? And the primaries that will probably decide the nomination are over TWO MONTHS away? C'mon, folks; it's NOT "over" in ANY way, shape, or form--it's just beginning!:eyes:

Al Gore obviously felt he could make a difference--he may well have today; how BIG a difference, and in what exact way, are very much yet-to-be-determined. I've a feeling we'll quickly get to two or three "top-tier" candidates: Dr. Dean; his major challenger (or someone else with Dean as the major challenger), and Al Sharpton. Once that happens, THEN we'll be able to see how soon "it's over", and just who we'll have to challenge Dub next fall. Let's neither underestimate, nor OVER-estimate, what happened today. It's important, but it's NOT an 8-level earthquake or a Category-5 hurricane.

:kick:

B-)
