Please don't take this as condescension. I really like Kerry and Clark and will happily, vote, work and donate to their campaigns if they get the nomination. That said, I like these guys so much that I want the whole package. I want to see this whole team going against Bush. I want DFA to start courting Kerry in some aspect if for no other reason than to get him on the team after a potential nom win. I think DFA needs to know how much respect there is for Kerry among the core. Flame away, I have most of you on "ignore" anyway. Peace.

1. That would be a nice thing.
Just not VP. We need Graham for that slot.

2. DFA pushed the meme that Kerry was a "corrupt Washington insider"
Edited on Tue Dec-09-03 11:39 AM by blm
and Dean called him, "Bushlite" many times this past year. They treated Gephardt and Edwards the same way. Kucinich was there for Dean to either ignore or step on to promote himself.

I'm sure they all feel warmly towards Dean and those who were lying about them.

Think about this: Look at all the young voters who now truly believe that Kerry is 'corrupt' and also a 'warmonger' because of Dean memes. Kerry, the one lawmaker who exposed more government corruption than ALL the candidates put together and more than any lawmaker alive. The man helped END three wars including illegal wars that Dean refused to stand against when asked.

Why? For personal political gain. Straight talk? Prove it.

4. Why do certain supporters respond on threads with
"Enjoy being on my ignore list" or "Welcome to my ignore list" I don't get it. Does the ignore feature serve as a good weapon in debate? Is it productive? Or does it serve as a divisive measure? I don't have one person on my ignore list, not one. Yes, there are DUers I don't agree with and some I find offensive but I choose to not read their threads or replies on certain subjects. But honestly, I find that there is common ground on other issues that we agree on.

5. hard to do when Kerry is still in the race
But if Kerry drops out I hope there's some outreach. And I've been daydreaming about Kerry as Sec. of State or Defense.

10. I'd prefer that you lobby him about opening his records
in case I have to vote for him. John Kerry can take care of himself.

12. Yeah. Lobby for him to be honest for a change.
His lying and deceptions are what annoys me the most and are the most dansgerous aspect of his candidacy. I'd prefer no honest candidate endorse Dean just for unity. Deception should come at a price.
