Lewis and Dorothy Cullman, George Soros Sponsor Ad and Website...

http://www.commondreams.org/news2003/0725-05.htm

WASHINGTON - July 25 - A full-page advertisement in the Sunday, July 27th, 2003 New York Times asks Americans to visit a new website, http://www.wedeservethetruth.com, and urges them to contact their Senators and Representatives to "get the truth" about the exaggerated and false intelligence on which the Administration's case for the Iraq war was based.
The advertisement titled "When the Nation Goes to War, The People Deserve the Truth," contains a dozen statements made by President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld, and Secretary of State Colin Powell now called into question by subsequent disclosures and by events in Iraq.

The statements include but go beyond the now discredited reference by President Bush to the uranium imports from Africa.

Similar ads are scheduled for publication on July 27, 2003 in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Houston Chronicle.

3. This, to me, is the biggest proof so far that the lies and duplicity of
the current administration is finally going to be their undoing. Arrogance is a trait that most people find insufferable. When you combine arrogance with duplicity, that's the beginning of the end. People have a natural tendency to get riled when their own self-interests are under attack. And the self-interests of this nation have been under attack since the 2000 election.

5. Yes, bush* has really pissed-off the BIG money people....
bush* economic failures have truly been amazing...and it's another great sign when the BIG money people turn against the shrub...they're really mad that the DOW just waffles around 8700-9000...the DOW was at 11,600 when bush* stole the White House..

these BIG money guys expected some better returns on their investments...and the second obscene tax cut for the rich is doing nothing to help...in addition, as shrub contracts government services, roads are not being repaired, schools are falling apart, the infrastructure necessary for the BIG money return on investments is totally collapsing....

and the pathetic crowning pinnacle of achievement for the whole bush* cabal has been their triumphal parading of bloated-human-trophy-heads on TV...

from famous writer, H.Thompson:

-snips-

The Rumsfield-Cheney axis has self-destructed right in front of our eyes, along with the once-proud Perle-Wolfowitz bund that is turning to wax. They somehow managed to blow it all, like a gang of kids on a looting spree, between January and July, or even less. It is genuinely incredible. The U.S. Treasury is empty, we are losing that stupid, fraudulent chickencrap War in Iraq, and every country in the world except a handful of Corrupt Brits despises us. We are losers, and that is the one unforgiveable sin in America.

Beyond that, we have lost the respect of the world and lost two disastrous wars in three years. Afghanistan is lost, Iraq is a permanent war Zone, our national Economy is crashing all around us, the Pentagon's "war strategy" has failed miserably, nobody has any money to spend, and our once-mighty U.S. America is paralyzed by Mutinies in Iraq and even Fort Bragg.

The American nation is in the worst condition I can remember in my lifetime, and our prospects for the immediate future are even worse. I am surprised and embarrassed to be a part of the first American generation to leave the country in far worse shape than it was when we first came into it. Our highway system is crumbling, our police are dishonest, our children are poor, our vaunted Social Security, once the envy of the world, has been looted and neglected and destroyed by the same gang of ignorant greed-crazed bastards who brought us Vietnam, Afghanistan, the disastrous Gaza Strip and ignominious defeat all over the world.

The Stock Market will never come back, our Armies will never again be No. 1, and our children will drink filthy water for the rest of our lives.

6. Maybe, but...
It is a pathetic state of affairs when one has to purchase advertising in order to bring news to a newspaper's readers. The NYT should be all over this scandalous criminal cabal that is ruining the country and the lives not only of Americans but people everywhere, both now and, perhaps, forever.

But it's something, I suppose.

9. No Way The Morning Skew Runs This
No way. I live in North Texas and unfortunately since the demise of the Times Herald, all there is around here is the Morning Skew. These guys, like most of the DFW area, have their collective tongue so far up the Republican's butt that they don't know the shit stops.

10. Between Buffet and Soros
Some of the extremely wealthy are starting to think about what we all need over personal mountains of wealth. The Bush cabal will never follow their lead and are on a power trip shielded by egos and ignorance.

11. I think Soros has always been the antithesis of the rich
Warren Buffet does it too. I remember watching CNN and Novakalia and some one were debating and the liberal or democrat said look at Warren Buffet hes rich and doesnt wanna repeal the estate tax well Novakalia being Novakalia sound well hes a liberal who cares really hes rich he would clearly benefit but he chooses the part of responsiblity and common sense compared to irresponsbily and ass wiping sense.
