Notice how many times Clark mentioned Graham?
I believe it was 3, the first time right after Clark was asked about his (future) vice president. That is truely Rove's worst nightmare. Graham covers all of Clarks bases in what he would require in a vp and then some.

2. I think Graham would be a wonderful running mate
for Clark or especially my guy, Howard Dean. Perhaps Graham will join his daugther who worked so hard on his campaign and come out for Dean too?

3. One of his daughters is for Clark, the other for Dean
I somehow doubt the guy who talked about "the electable wing of the democratic party" would embrace Dean.

4. Well, we seem to agree on the Vice-President.
I'll vote for either Dean or Clark. It's up to ya'll to find out which one has the least hidden agendas, if any. And, certainly, I'd be interested in knowing which one is most committed to avoiding a draft.

5. i like that.... Clark, please listen....
i was seeing "G..." (G.. something as a clark Veep)... thinking Gephardt... but Graham... i don't know the guy from a hole in the wall, but he sounds like a complement...

It fits with what i saw. That i can pick up the veep 5000 miles off indicates how loud the psychic noise they're making is... just unless clark can unify his camp and rebuff the new dean baboon noise... .

Clark needs hillary and bill's endorsement. Plus, if he can arrange it, the complicit support of the non-clark minority players (moseley braun, kucinich, kerry, sharpton) in his unity ticket as an alternative to "our-way-or-the-highway" dean'ism.

Clark needs to show his leadership damn quick right about now... dean is on a tactical end-around maneouvre to outflank him... best he turn quick.

7. Clark only needs himself
endorsements are fine but they all carry a certain amount of baggage with them.

President Gore's endorsement is good but how many votes does that translate into? That remains to be seen.

Gore has taken a risk with this early endorsement, and it may come back to bite him in the ass. Give him credit that he'd probably do it anyway.
