I thought her name was Joanne Conti. Can you verify? Also, do you have a website I can look at?

1. I'm not sure Tancredo is running for reelection-- he's said
previously he would not. 'Don't know Conti, but that district is clearly Repug territory. We can hope...

2. he already reneged on his self-term-limiting promise
if that's what you're thinking of.

Conti is a neophyte (there was a confusingly named "Joanne Conte" who was in the state legislature a while back--I think.) In any case, that's not her.

This Joanne is a newbie, with no real record, and has only been a Democrat for about a year. I don't see her with any chance to win.

3. Tancredo--like Kucinich--is fighting for working class Americans
I like Tancredo. I am still hoping he will try to run against bush in 2004

4. cryofan, your sig line is inaccurate.
And how will Tom Tancredo run against George? However, he is a maverick, and more intellectually honest than George. I'll give him that. And while something drastic needs to be done with our immigration problem, I don't think a great wall is the best solution. It's too reminiscent of Berlin.

:D
