"Kucinich to Ask for Investigation of Air Attack in Afghanistan"
12/07/03
http://www.kucinich.us/pressreleases/pr_120703.php

snip>>>
""In the name of fighting terrorism, the Bush administration has killed thousands of innocent civilians, including many children. The Bush administration turned what should have been an international criminal investigation into a war. It has set aside international laws. It has not found Osama bin Laden.

"Considering the amount of time the Bush administration allegedly spends on surveillance, the deaths of these nine children cry out for an explanation -- and an investigation.""

Too bad he's unelectable.. :eyes:

8. go DK
that a man like DK is considered 'unelectable' is sign of just how fucked-up this country is. :(

14. and a reason for me to feel sad
DK probably wont get much publicity for this and thats a shame, just like that hospital he and the mayor of Cleveland are trying to save, he is a really great guy. I think America would really like him.

10. Good for him!
I really, really wish we had the kind of country where he could win. If we had that kind of country, maybe the outcome of the next presidential election wouldn't be so important.

Nine children...and the blood of those innocents is on Bush's hands, and the stain and shame of war is on his soul.

16. HE IS ELECTABLE!!
:hi: all
Just wanted to say that in a subject title and be really loud....

cause I think its possible...
polling higher? who here really believes the polls??? I mean these polls are done by the same people who don't give him air time and we are supposed to believe he isn't polling anything??? below Braun even??
awww, c'mon!

OK...had to get that out of my system this morning......

and yes dp, isn't it amazing that Dennis says it first and then the other candidates jump in and say it & its all over the news...really makes me so disgusted with this media/country......

I am not adding to the "unelectable" statement...I know here with you guys (DK supporters especially) its strictly sarcasm but even then....I don't want to hear it or see it & I'm going to counter it every chance I get...anyone with me??

Bless you Dennis for having the courage and for caring enough to stand up and tell the truth and really, no matter what candidate you are supporting...you gotta admire this man for walking the talk....Dennis satnds up for what he believes in - no matter what!!!

GO DENNIS :yourock:

and thank you

Peace

20. He is the MOST electable!
Edited on Sun Dec-07-03 02:10 PM by tinanator
The simple proof is, he has my vote, and Im the pickiest SOB alive. When so many of the rest are sworn to support "ABB" (a plea for mediocrity and little real change) as its used most often, those wise folks will have no problem pulling the lever for Dennis, obviously. So the "unelectable" song and dance dont hold water.

29. Yeah, who 'votes' in the polls anyway?
i haven't been polled yet and don't know anyone who has either.

I was on the road today, and only had a bit of time to catch any news. The Afghanistan bombing news was on NPR several times, each time mentioning the military would be investigating, but never a mention of Kucinich.

But i am amazed constantly by this man's integrity and dedication to the Truth. He called for an investigation within what? 12 hours?

More and more people i speak with have started lending him an ear, i point them to his website and hope they are seriously checking it out. From what i read here about the web traffic, hopefully they are.

I had bookmarked this thread before i left earlier and was the first one i looked at getting home, so wanted to kick it back up from page three. Then looked and saw many more new threads on several forums, so am going to get in on those.

keep up the faith all, DK's time is coming sooner than later!

peace,
dp

17. Good for him, this needs to be investigated. No justification for killing
children and other innocents because of more faulty intelligence.

DK did a great job on his Florida Democratic speech yesterday! They FINALLY gave him enough time to say something! Did you HEAR the cheering?! :D

He is the best candidate out there at it is things like the above action that make his the only candidate worth voting for IMO!

DENNIS J. KUCINICH FOR PRESIDENT IN 2004!!

21. Amazing isn't it...
He is so far ahead of the other candidates in vision and on issues.
I think all of us DK supporters are going to have a coronary reading DU day after day.

Dennis acts and then other candidates pick it up and all we hear is Did you hear candidate XXXX just did/said this!!?!? They are the best.

There is another thread today that discusses Union support and the only mention of Kucinich anywhere in it is from a Kucinich supporter. The media has done it's job so well that even DUers don't have any idea that Kucinich is by far the strongest pro-union candidate..

Others have fancy slogans and rhetoric, Dennis has truth and vision. I guess people want change as long as nothing really changes?

23. Gads Dennis
There are things every single day that need investigating.
Why this issue, why now? I don't take issue with the good
intentions, but focus on one investigation at a time
and really get something done on it. I would absolutely
applaud any results he can get on anything.

Let's start with 9/11, the anthrax guy or where in the
hell are bin Laden and Saddam?

25. Kick for Dennis
He stands up against the BFEE every day..without fail. But oh no...he's too short, he's a vegan, he's got funny hair. On and on, ad nauseum, we are told he is unelectable. To the naysayers, I have one word.....bull.

Dennis is completely electable and I will proudly cast my votes for him in the Ohio Primary and the General Election. It is time to put the democratic traditions back into the Democratic Party.

he's going to get labeled "soft on foreigners."

Sarcasm over. Good for you, Dennis! I was disappointed Hillary didn't mention this on TV this morning, unless I missed it. She got two questions about Afghanistan, and I was hoping she would say something.
