David Kay's pending WMD findings....

When the weapons inspectors, led by David Kay, report their findngs on WMDs, will that end the WMD story that is threatening to explode? I'm afraid that the administration will pitch it and spin it and poof!, the WMD issue is gone. I've heard the B*shies say: "..David Kay and his inspectors are doing a great job getting to the bottom of the WMDs and when they report out their findings, everything will be explained......". This sounds like the official talking point, which leads me to believe that they've got something big coming. If the american people believed the lies leading up to the invasion, I'm afraid that if something similar is presented re WMDs they'll believe that and that will be the end of the story.
Please convince me I'm wrong...

a WMD program, but that's not the same as having WMDs, which is what thet said in the lead-up to the war. Keep in mind Bush has now dropped any references to WMDs in his speeches.

5. I think you're right but

remember that what he's dealing with are mostly "documents." All that can show is a "weapons program," probably, and we weren't sold this war on the basis of a "program," but rather on urgent threat.

But sure they'll spin it for all they're worth.

But can it threaten imminent death and destruction on the USA? F@ck no. I believe many Americans will reject this "weapons program" bullshit the Bushies are pushing. We want to see the weapons, not some blueprint of weapons.
