Today, Progressive Majority is launching a campaign to find out who in the White House revealed the name of a CIA operative in the name of political hardball."

10. I don't buy the "protecting his source" BS.

That just doesn't apply in this situation.

If a person told a reporter about someone inside the WH feeding potentially harmful information to a compliant reporter for the purpose of retaliation, THAT source should be protected.

Novack wasn't reporting news-he was an accomplice in a felony!

This letter should be sent to CNN too.

18. I have never cared about being alone

I responded to that email request with a statement that I could not support an attempt to remove the protections from the press necesary to ensure access to information. This goes to the very heart of our free press and just because Novak is a sleazy right winger doesnt suspend the protections all journalists share.

It is my belief that every effort should be made to find the culprit within the administration ( fall guy actually because Ill bet the house that the order came from high up)by all legal means. Those means should not include harrassing a member of the press, regardless of his political views.

his source he can "LEAK" it out, with all the other leaks that are done today on nearly every issue it should fit right in.

that it's come out that, at one time in the past, Novack did reveal his secret source. So, I feel that he now needs to come forward or be pressured.
