1. What a Great Guy! (not)
yep.......that poor little boy -- there's no way he could ever testify against that brute and expect to live. The repuke no doubt knows this and can say with certainty that the case will be dropped -- but not because he is innocent.

Now.....I wonder where the mother stands with this? I wonder if she is standing by her man. And I wonder if some day the father will actually cause perm damage or kill this kid.....

Very very sad.........

3. the permanent damage is already being done
My mother did this sort fo thing all the time. My twin brother bore the brunt of it and you should see him today.......heartbreaking really. What she did to this brilliant, beautiful child.....

Unlike Diver Dave I am not 6' something 200-some pounds but I pity the fool I catch doing any such thing.....

Right-to-lifers don't give a crap about any kids once they are born, sick bastards.

Small but effective--
Julie

2. I tell you what,
Edited on Sat Jul-26-03 07:29 AM by DiverDave
if I EVER see, or hear, of ANYONE doing this. He (or she) is gonna have a 6'1" 210lb problem.
I was beaten as a child, and I couldnt do anything about it.
Now I can, and have no reservations about teaching someone a lesson.
Seeing red right now...

Dave

4. Fundies have used the Bible
to justify child and spousal abuse for years. I cringe everytime I hear the word submission when used in context of a marriage, having the woman submit to the man and all that. Yeah if it were a fetus he wouldn't lay a hand on it.
