The US Terrorism Plot That the Media Ignores

In May 2003, white supremacists in Texas were caught with a sodium cyanide bomb, other bombs, illegal weapons, hate literature, fake I.D., and chemicals, including hydrochloric acid and nitric acid. In mid-November, three people pleaded guilty to related charges, while seized documents indicate that there are other co-conspirators at large. The feds have served "hundreds of subpoenas across the country," and the plot has been included in the President's daily intelligence briefings.

But most of us have never heard about it. The only media that saw fit to report about this terrorist plot within the US were a few newspapers and TV stations in Texas. The Web-based news outlet WorldNetDaily ran a story about it, but Google News shows that there hasn't been a word in the New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, or any other big media outlet. Why have the media decided that this is a non-story? It's hard to say, but we can say with certainty that if Muslims had been caught with these weapons of mass destruction, fake I.D., gas masks, and books on making explosives, it would've been front-page news for days.

1. Oh man, that is just sick...

I remember thinking on 9/11, when people were screaming 'Arab terrorists' while the buildings were still standing, that it was 'one of our own' that perpetrated the horrors in OK City...
I have always been more terrified of the wrong-wing extremists at home...no difference in my book between the Taliban and the 700 Club-types (not the DU 700 Club of course!)

3. Thats the problem with racial profiling

All these people were screaming about how they had to wait at the airport, despite the fact that they were white. They wanted only people who looked Arab to be checked out.

Thats just such bullshit, because there are a ton of white Americans out there who are terrorists and killers.

If you get killed by a homegrown terrorist, you are just as dead. They would be happy to take advantage of racial profiling.

2. When will we learn?

One would think that by now Americans would be wise to the fact that extremists of all races, of all nationalities are dangerous!

OKC bombing, the Olympic boming in Atlanta, KKK, anti-choice snipers and bombers, most likely the anthrax killer...just as dangerous.

bad news about conservatives and right-leaning 'mericans.

And yet you never, ever, EVER! hear any bad things about the Kennedys.
