Bush's Turkey Trip-- A Gobbling Good Idea?? (Poll)
UNbelievable! Our local paper (in WV) is conducting an online poll asking readers if the Chief Turkey's Thanksgiving trip to Iraq was a good idea. Over 75% of respondents are lauding the Turkey-In-Chief for serving up a bogus bird in Baghdad.

Here's the link for the poll, and they are inviting comments:

BTW, in this morning's hard copy of the same newspaper it was reported that the police pulled over a local man for speeding and found two ounces of crack cocaine in the guy's Subway steak and cheese sub. "The driver continuously asked if it would be OK to have his sub that was inside the vehicle, explaining that he was `extremely hungry' ". Good Lordie, what would Jared say?

Speaking of which, this brings to mind how the current Subway commercials could fit into the current political arena. Picture: A terrifying scene of Baghdad during the night of "Shock and Awe", then a pic of Dubya saying, "It's okay -- I had Subway for lunch!"
