Can we draft a Republican/Conservative outsider to run against Bush?
as an independent? I'm pretty sure that would split the Republican vote since a lot of Pubs are secretly angry at what Bush is doing to this country.

Edited on Thu Dec-04-03 12:43 AM by Sliverofhope
In my sigline. www.ashby2004.com I don't know much about him, as I just put it there. But I do it so that people can know. It's worth a shot. Atrios endorsed him for GOP nominee.

As I'm busy with finals now, I will do as much minimal work things as I can. I'm gearing up for hard time volunteerism later...

3. A while ago people were talking about Roy Moore...
...aka the "Ten Commandments Judge" running for the Constitution Party. I don't know what happened to that.

8. the way I look at it
if dems can't see they have a club and broom in Clark (someone who can club the bushies and sweep them away in a general election), well its really too bad for all of us.

7. Most Republicans I know are loyal to Jar Jar Bush.
I doubt any would defect. They would more likely stay at home.

9. I wish McCain would run again
I'm sure he would take a LARGE amount of votes from W. but not enough to win over the Dem candidates.

I don't think Bush realizes just how many of us are angry and voting Third Party. It's JOBS, borders, spending, expanding government, etc. Wake up, GW before it's too late.

11. WTF? One of them just referred to Bush as a liberal?!
The idea that Bush needs a second term before his true conservative beliefs come to the surface is wishful thinking. He's a liberal, big government individual that favors power and control.

I feel super dirty now.

16. You have to realize
that a lot of Republicans are for reduced government... some of them are neo-libertarians. To them, someone who increases the size of government as Bush has done is a liberal.

We're not liberals to them. We're Socialists or Communists.

15. How about
I can't believe I'm suggesting this, O'Reilly? He said something about making that run, how about we goad him into doing it? His ego's big enough taht he won't back down until the train hits him, and that WILL hurt Bush a lot. That and if Moore runs at the same time that should hurt Bush, being hit on both sides as he will be. Now if there was a way to pull it off...

18. Come on! They're much worse sheep than "the sheeple!"
They may bitch a lot now, but they're too addicted to being the party in power to stop doing exactly as the RNC, through its propaganda wing, tells them to do. There will not be any Republican opponent to Bush that most people will know about. Maybe Ron Paul will stage an insurrection, but I doubt anyone will hear much about it.
