I donate to DU but I come here less and less. I damn sure don't steer other Democrats here. You have to wade through so much sh*t to find anything worthwhile. So may hard feelings are being generated by the flame wars hurled between different groups supporting different candidates that I am seriously afraid it will make unification of DU members/participants behind the eventual nominee range from impossible at the worst to tepid at best.

Bush is the enemy. Not other Democrats.

Until the primaries are settled, Skinner should shut it down.

I'm sure this will be locked soon (violates a couple of rules) but I'll chime in early to say you couldn't be more wrong. We're not automatons with lockstep thinking. We disagree, we argue, we fight, we discuss, we debate..... all of which is the whole POINT of this forum.

5. I've stopped donating.

I had a monthly subscription for a while, but that was in the beginning when this was a place to keep up with the news and maybe exchange comments with like-minded others who were not about to "get over it". Now that it's just a venue for nasty flame wars, the newbies can pay for it. My money's going to Dean where it might do some good.

get rid of the crap. Remember the mantra "ANYONE BUT BUSH!" Stop the candidate bashing, the ask me anything garbage, the football stuff, and get back to encouraging and supporting our guys. If I want hate I'll tune into FOX.
