Ralph is at it again.
Remember the idiot who I mentioned, who has a "LiveJournal," and is so far-right he even makes the Freepers look liberal, Ralph Hayes Jr?
Well, here's his latest whine:

http://www.livejournal.com/users/rhjunior/

"Crossfire"
Caught the first five minutes or so of "Crossfire" on CNN while I was at Big Larry's Subs yesterday. The topic of the Gray Davis recall came up. The leftwing commentator opened his mouth, and I was promptly reminded of one of my favorite sayings:

Conservatives spend too much time debating with people they should just punch in the throat.

The first words out of "Lefty's" mouth were "What is it about the Right Wing that they hate elections so much? Al Gore got the popular vote, and they threw him out; Gray Davis won his election and now they wanna throw him out."

Okay, my first fantasy is of me smacking the crap out of Lefty with a nerf-padded bat. Second fantasy: telling him three things:

1 )Ever heard of the Electoral College, buttmunch? NO president has ever been elected by popular vote, not even the ones you liked.

2) What do Leftwingers hate the rule of law so much? Gore lost the count, the recount, and the re-recount, and the Federal Supreme Court stepped in when the State supreme court tried to break its own recount laws by "cherry picking" votes. Gore lost, by every election law in the books. Gray Davis is getting a recall, in accordance with the laws on the California books. You're going to lose another trained baboon from your ranks, because we're still a nation ruled by our laws, not by populist emotionalism. Cope.

3) Bring up that damned election one more time, and I'll pull the padding off this bat and really go to town on your pointed little skull.

Oh heck. I'd most likely skip to #3 and call it a satisfactory conclusion.
Hey, a guy can dream, right?

And here's my comment to him on his bullshit:

1. Who was this "Lefty?"
Otherwise all you have is your generic "liberal."

2. Gray Davis DID win the CA governor election.
His GOP opponent was simply a total idiot.

(BTW, the governor of Washington state will not run again, since he got too many threats and slurs in his e-mail and snailmail from the "good republicans" of Washington.)

3. The main funding for this recall election drive is from a CA businessman so right-wing he lost his ass in the primaries, against the dipwit mentioned above.
He's also a liar, and a car thief.

4. The Electoral College should be done away with.
It's a leftover from centuries ago that is simply out of date.
The same way blacks at one time couldn't vote, or women.
The same way we now elect our senators by direct vote. (It wasn't always that way.)

4. A recall election will cost CA $30 million dollars, which they can NOT afford right now just so some far-right congressasshole can have his ego trip.

The candidates for governor include (maybe) Ah-nold, and a model who drives around in a pink Corvette.

"Heck, a guy can dream, right?"

Ralph you've been in a Bush-induced dream world since January of 2001, so out of it, all the far-right and Bush League lies just float over your head.

1. You can wait many a long day...
...and not see a more perfect expression of the Facist ideal than this:

Conservatives spend too much time debating with people they should just punch in the throat.

4. You got it.
And one of his asshole cheerleaders just posted this to me:

"Your knowledge of current events may or may not be valid, but your knowledge of American History is abysmal... or are you one of our domestic enemies?"

I told him to take his attitude where it would be more appreciated, North Korea or Cuba.

3. Great letter to editor about this...
"The Republican U.S. Senate impeaches the elected president. The Republican Supreme Court hands the presidency to an unelected candidate. Now a Republican congressman pays to unseat California's elected governor. If you've got Republicans, who needs elections?"
-- M Lipton, letter to the editor in the Los Angeles Times
