Why aren't Saddam's sons charbroiled?

If they were in the same room that we saw on the footage, it would seem that they would at least have some burns. The initial reports were that they died after being hit from a tow missile-- something about them being in one piece just doesn't add up to me. Perhaps someone here would care to explain.

just that the race to photo and video seems strange - as does the race to burn them out rather than capture them.

they found some previous photos of dead Iraqis, with beards and shots through the face....just enough to add the "impression" of killing saddam's sons...

that's mostly what rove does...just adds enough to give an "impression"...then repeats it so much on TV, by Congressional reTHUGlicans, in the Washington Times...pretty soon, people believe it...afterall, just the mention of the assassination of saddam's sons got a lot of people believing it here on DU, discussing it as if it was real....these types of manipulation is what the bush* cabal excels at...yellowcake, anyone????

8. What I heard last night on evening news

Apparently, according to DoD talking points, the four deceased were holed up with small arms in the second story of the house. They (CBS) showed video of the ruined villa. The rear wall of the second story was scorched by an anti-tank rocket fired into the room... the reason being so that soldiers could get a view of them. To me, there seemed evidence of other pieces of artillery fire, judging by the basketball sized wounds along the walls which are otherwise dotted by bullets. All the rubble was inside the villa, indicating that the brunt of any and all heavy fire was launched into the place, not from it.

This didn't look like a six hour operation. This looks to me like a smash and grab. The death wounds, according to the released initial autopsy report, were inflicted by a blunt object to the back of Qusay's head, while Uday was dead from a bullet which entered him behind the ear. Both of these indicate execution.

This is further complicated by my opinion that Uday doesn't look like Uday. Qusay's corpse seems to match... the hairline, ear shape, nose, and space between the eyes seem to match. My only field of expertise on this is my experience drawing portraits. So take what I say with a grain of salt. However, look at Uday, and very few features match outside the bald pate and the eyebrows. The nose, eye shape, cheeks, and total face shape don't really match up. I can't say weight gain because if you look wat what they show of the upper body, both men seem to be mesomporphic... their necks are not overly thick to indicate pudginess. Corpse Uday circular face just doesn't fit the pictures of living Uday that I've seen.

This is even further complicated by the idea that any of Hussein's relatives would be living in relative obvious luxury anywhere in Kurd controlled Iraq, well within the northern 'No Fly Zone." It just doesn't make sense.

As we saw in the unedited photos yesterday, but too many Americans didn't think they looked like the Hussein boys and the photos were too gruesome. But after the restoration work everyone can see that only deadender anti-Coalition remnants and conspiracy theorists question why it would take 200 soldiers 6 hours and all those missiles to kill 3 men and a kid. They probably don't know that Uday was in a wheelchair and everybody knows people in wheelchairs have a lot of upper body strength.
