In the last couple elections, the religious right hasn't showed up at the polls the way they did in '94.

Gore didn't help Republicans. He was a divinity school attendee (did he graduate?) and his running mate was a very observant Jew. Clinton was a baptist (right?) who spent a lot of time in church.

So, how in the world will the right get out their core voters?

What is it that the Republicans could do to alienate their own voter base?
