Californians we have a choice for Governor.
I know we are all going to vote NO for the recall, however, we need to drain votes away from the Republican candidates on the second part of the recall ballot and Peter Camejo the Green candidate is our guy.

He is running on the October 7, ballot. If Davis loses the recall, we will get a Republican governor whether we want it or not and that includes Arianna Huffington. Drain those votes from the Republican candidates and vote for Camejo in case Davis loses the recall vote.

2. Hey NSMA.
Didn't know Cruz could actually be written in. That would be my first choice. My post is more about draining Repuke votes than anything else.

3. Helping Republicans?
How so? No Democrat is running. Camejo doesn't split the left-wing vote; writing-in Bustamante will, though.

vote for aiding and abetting a divisive ploy to unseat a legitimately elected governor. You are free to do as you wish and state as you wish. In my book, Camejo is as much a gadfly and and vulture as Issa.
For a guy who made his name off the sweat of unions, most of them wont even cozy up to him anymore.

14. NO Tahiti, it isn't a spite issue. What Camejo is doing is a spite issue
I am simply not going to reward him for his spite. I didn't agree when he was locked out of the debates but I don't agree with his spiteful action for that.

13. Arianna?

Arianna Huffington? If the rethugs do succeed in dumping Davis it would serve them right if she got in.

4. No
We will not be helping any Greens here, nor any Republicans. Just because some people are so foolish as to think Greens help Democrats doesn't mean that those of us with experience have not read their platforms and studied their actions and know for a fact that the Greens are a dagger aimed at the heart of Democrats. I too will be writing in Bustamante.

5. If Arianna's in, Camejo is out!
7. What about the Green Party? I heard Peter Camejo is running.

He has declared himself a candidate. Fortunately, he has also said that he is willing to bow out under certain circumstances, in favor of Arianna. We hope that these two leaders will eventually join forces, under Arianna's candidacy.

7. So now I am confused again.
Why is Arianna okay as a Green candidate and yet others have said no Greens whatsoever?

Carejo did. Coup plotters aren't worthy of votes.

11. The choice was made in the last election when Davis won
I hate this re-call scam, and if I lived in California, I wouldn't reward anyone who's a party to it. This and the Florida presidential fiasco will someday be the norm for this country. No more democratic elections, because if someone doesn't like you because of your looks or personality, the re-call machine will be whipped out again.

12. Isn't there supposed to be a court ruling first to determine
IF there will be a ballot that says something other than: recall Davis (yes or no)?

15. MUCH too soon to say such a thing.
There may be some twists and turns between now and 10/7. The Democrats will say "we're not running a candidate." Perhaps after the GOP zoo is in full action, things will change. Hold off, please.

16. I think
the ballot has to be certified by August 11, so anyone who wants to be on that ballot better hop to it.

I will vote no on the recall and leave it blank on the replacement unless there is a Dem, which there probably won't be.

Shit, maybe I'll vote for Michael Savage. Wouldn't that make the recall folks be the laughing stock of the country? Hated Davis??? Wait 'til you get a wiff of Savage! (Sarcasm here.)

17. Update.
Rumors abound but so far no solid facts. However, it appears there will be Democratic candidates seriously thinking of running. So stay tuned. If Davis loses the recall, and that is a big IF, part of me would really like to see some unknown candidate from the far left, preferrably a Birkenstock wearing tree-sitter become Governor for spite. You will not be able to stop me from laughing then.
