... I'd rather the Dems waive cloture in this particular case.

It's about time to put those so-called "moderate" Republicans on the spot. Specter just voted the nomination out of Committee though he adopted the quite oily pose that he might vote against Pryor on the floor.

F*ck him. Make Specter, Collins, Snowe and Chaffee vote against (and make enemies of the WH and the loony-Right in their constituencies) or vote for (and expose this fiction of little pink unicorns called "moderate Republicans").

5. It's hard to fight so many things at once. R-W judges, invasions
of sovereign countries, dismantling of education and Headstart budgets, cuts in veterans' fundings, electronic voting machines, etc.

After all, when the lawsuits start getting filed, and folks are demanding answers from this corrupt administration, you want to be sure the judge is a friendly face in a sea of hostility. Right, Ted Olson?
