Still ANOTHER attempt to defile memory of Wellstone...
this is just outrageous.
perhaps you caught the earlier thread about the bumper sticker on a car owned by a Minnesota Senate staff member: "It's time to park the bus."

An update, and I'll get a link here shortly, disclosed ANOTHER bumper sticker seen in St. Paul, and this one is even more blatant and disgusting:
"He's dead. Get over it."

Tell me this is not part of a well-organized, well-funded effort.
These people should burn in a fucking fiery hell.

3. you're taking some chances tooling around Saint Paul
with messages like those on your car.

We're nice people, but there's a lot of old school DFLers with very limited patience for that kind of snot-nosed bullshit. I'd love to see what my mechanic might do to that car.

5. That's ok..
I saw a bumpersticker on some neanderthal's pickup truck with Martin Luther King's fameous quote: "I have a Dream", and the "I" was a rebel flag on a pole. Fucking sick.

6. On the other hand..
Between my parents house and home in St Paul about 3 miles I saw three green Wellstone bumper stickers last Monday. Made me feel good.

7. addendum, too late for 'edit'....the bumper stickers...
....are white on the SAME green that Wellstone used, and the letters are in the same style and font.
JUST IN CASE the message wasn't clear.
fucking degenerates...

8. They can't STAND IT
Edited on Fri Jul-25-03 03:01 PM by indigo32
they can't deal with the fact that a good man would be remembered the way Paul is.

Screw them... I still see LOTS of Wellstone stickers. Even a few in Repub Suburbia where I live.

9. I'll keep an eye out for them up here in the RR Valley
and *try* very hard to keep my keys in my pocket if I see one.

I'm driving around Fargo with a No War In Iraq and a goofy picture of Bush captioned "Like A Rock, Only Dumber".

I thought I'd get my windshield smashed, but so have have only gotten politely positive comments, (and seen a lot of people pointing at the back of my station wagon toward teh Bush sitcker and laughing).

11. They're obviously jealous
They know that not one of their guys would still have loyalists with bumper stickers and yard signs on display nine months after his death.

Poor Normie, he brags and gloats so much, and the DFLers still don't like him! :nopity:
