Work in progress - A "Have you forgotten" to send them . . .
This is a work in progress. I will be sending it out to all the idjits who love the "Have you forgotten" song.

For the "Hey you dumb-ass liberals: 'Have you forgotten?'" crowd:

Have you forgotten Osama bin Laden?
Have you forgotten Ronald Reagan's hearty support for Saddam in the war against Iran, which actually helped RR get elected in the first place?
Have you forgotten that, until August 1 of 1991, George H.W. Bush was buddy-buddy with Saddam?
Have you forgotten that George W. Bush's pappy George H.W. Bush was so beloved by the CIA that they named their headquarters after him?
Have you forgotten that George W. Bush, not Bill Clinton, was in charge of the national security of this nation 1/21/2001 through 9/11/2001?
Have you forgotten the Hart-Rudmann report on Terrorism, handed in to this administration, which detailed that airplanes could be used by terrorists?
Have you forgotten, now that he gave a little support to Bush, that you have painted Bill Clinton as a man who tells nothing but lies?
Have you forgotten Rumsfeld's hearty handshake with Saddam?
Have you forgotten Arlen Specter's glowing report of his visit to Iraq and his admiring assessment of Saddam Hussein in January of 1991?
Have you forgotten that it was liberals, Democrats, and Amnesty International in 1988, not 1998, who reported that Saddam Hussein was gassing his own people and murdering journalists in front of crowds of cheering grade school students?
Have you forgotten that the Republicans were fighting against any use of American forces in Humanitarian missions (such as ousting a brutal dictator like Milosovic) where there were no national interests (such as oil) for the US?
Have you forgotten that there was an eight-year campaign by the Right to make sure that any President be held accountable for his actions, no matter how he tried to spin it?
Have you forgotten that there was a major contention about a President's military service record when the Democratic candidate was not a Vietnam Veteran?
Have you forgotten the words "Rule of Law"?

Your input is welcome

1. How about "Have you forgottren that Darryl Worley is some fake-ass
'hat act' no talent ass-kisser?"

Those words would really sting them here in Nashville; tell them their product is faulty.

2. Speaking as someone who occasionally has to listen to the Big Frog,...
...most modern country music sounds like it was generated by a computer. It is fairly uniform, even down to the artificial-sounding "twang" generally used by the singers, and rather unimaginative for the most part. Once in a while, the local ClearChannel employee who manages the playlist will sneak in an oldie - a Johnny Cash, or a Patsy Kline, or a Hank Williams Sr. - and the difference is clearly evident. Today's country music is every bit as soulless as today's pop, even when it attempts to convey some right-wing flag-waving message. "Have You Forgotten" is but one example of this.

I mean, REALLY! Are our memories so short, our sensibilities so jaded, our souls so comatose that we could possibly forget in our lifetimes what happened on September 11, 2001, let alone in the year or so between that event and the release of this "song?" That question is so patently ridiculous, only the most devoted dittomonkey among us can answer in the affirmative.

3. Precisely my thought.
Modern country music blows. Hard.

Take away the lyrics, singing, and the jingoistic, idiotic, incorrect message of "Have you Forgotten?" and it's still an endurance test.

4. Addenda
Have you forgotten that, prior to 9/11, the worst domestic terrorist attack in the history of the US was perpetrated by an Anti-Clinton militiaman dittomonkey against a federal building, killing innocent men, women, and children?

Have you forgotten that it is a federal offense to "out" an undercover CIA agent?
