The Republican “Golden Rule”
Edited on Fri Jul-25-03 07:12 AM by The Lone Liberal
It is an “Alice in Wonderland” world that we live in when the republican mob spends 50 to 80 million dollars pursuing Clinton over a twenty-year old land deal involving 400 thousand dollar. Then turns a blind eye and deaf ear to Bush and Cheney’s in-your-face billions of dollar grab of taxpayer’s moneys. The money that is going to flow to Halliburton and Bechtel in the rebuilding of Iraq is going to be staggering and some of it is going to flow into the pockets of the Bush and Cheney family. This serves to validate the republican’s “Golden Rule” ethic of “those with the gold rule.”

Why isn't there a public outcry against this theft. It just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

1. It is almost as if the people have been hypnotized.
Wave a phony tax cut in front of their eyes and they become gullible. Companies like Bechtel and Halliburton probably have other lucrative government contracts that we haven't yet heard about.

It's a mass psychological fear reaction. They are our leaders, so they must be right and trustworthy. If they are not, we are f****d, so our minds refuse to acknowledge it. There was no such fear at work when all things Clinton were being savaged.

Here's my take of the 21st century "golden rule" here in the land o' the greedy: "Me & mine first, and to hell with the rest of you people."

4. Gop is really hung up about sex and that story had some sex.
I am not sure why that is but you even head it on Rush show. Do you think it is the party of wimps and they are always worried about how manly they are?

5. The real golden rule of politics is
"never kick a man unless he's down." But they seem to kick everybody, up or down. Not smart.

6. right on
from "The Wisdom of trof, His Own Self":
"Never kick a man when he's down?
Well, hell...when he's down is when you can really get AT him;
do a real number on him and finish him off!"
;-)

There is no harm in profiting from making Biblical prophecy happen!
Profit & Prophet sound the same for a reason; God wants those in power to make it happen!

Another rule the Greedy Oppressive Profiteers live by

“God gave me mine: You go get your own!”
or
“ I’m closer to God than you are and I got the money and power to prove it!”

Kick them when they’re up, kick em when they’re down, kick them all around
