1. Thank you. I would have voted HELL NO
If I could. So I voted no.

Unfortunately, the "yeses" are winning.

3. Oops, I accidently voted "yes"
Gotcha! By the by, what the hell are they doing putting an amendment in the constitution about marriage? Has it not occurred to anyone that it doesn't have a damn thing to do with how the government's run?

4. In a word, "Lawrence v Texas"
The ruling by the Supreme Court this past summer striking down the sodomy laws. Scalia, in his dissent, correctly said that this could open the way for gay marriage. The weirdos got all crazed about that. DOMA (the Defense of Marriage Act) could very well be struck down in the aftermath of "Lawrence v Texas". Hence, the proposed Federal Marriage Amendment.

5. Nothing to do with how the government's run?
Whatsamatta you? Haven't you heard we're a Christian nation? Honestly, just look around. Bombing countries, detaining people without legal counsel, homophobia running rampant, fetuses taking precedence over even the life of the mother, a demander-in-chief who poses as Jesus and declares that he is "mindful that we are all sinners." And you ask such an impudent question? A thunk up the side of your head with the King James version!

7. Keep it goin'
This is my hometown newspaper. I saw this new poll earlier today and 72% had voted in favor of the ban. (I'm not proud to be from this town...) I put a note in my AIM profile telling my friends to vote Hell NO! By about 7 pm enough of my friends had voted to get it down to just 58%! (mwahahaha) and then a friend's friend posted on this site, You guys are rockin' this poll. In the last half hour there have been about 25 NO votes.... keep this up and my hicktown newspaper is gonna have an interesting poll to publish over the weekend heh heh heh
