I do not want to log in an unknown-to-me website you provided a link to. Has this website accepted ads from the US military, directed at recruiting blacks? I have heard that hispanic radio/TV stations are carrying a lot of recruiting ads.
To me it's been clear since Vietnam that the military focuses its recruiting on young, economically disadvantaged minorities because they are easier to psychologically manipulate and motivate. That's fine in peacetime when there was an equitable quid-pro-quo, and enlistees were largely likely to survive their enlistment and end up with some valuable training/job skill/experience in exchange for four years of low paid service to their country. Now I think one of the most reprehensible jobs in the world is that of US Army recruiter - a lot of NCOs from economically disadvantaged backgrounds themselves, but fortunate enough to have risen in the ranks prior to Afghanistan/Iraq, luring members of their own socio-economic class to become cannon fodder to protect the interests of Big Oil and Big Military/Industrial complexes.
