Very strong potential team-either Graham-Dean or Dean-Graham! They do a lot for each other...

4. Don't get me started on Mary Landrieu...
Her "I'm-as-close-to-Dubya-as-can-be" campaign almost lost her recent election to a Repub. challenger.

And don't forget the fact that she declined to endorse the Democrat who bested her and made the run-off for Governor in '95. In that race she had ads played in the African-American community telling voters not to vote for Cleo Fields because "you should only vote for someone who is electable".

5. She is a wonderful spokesperson for
big oil companies. I'm sure she gets a lot of contributions from them.

2. Sounds good...
...I have no problem with a liberal taking a centrist for a running mate; not only would it be an improvement over the centrist/centrist teams of Clinton/Gore and Gore/Lieberman, but also it's important for the president and the VP to represent more than one wing of one party.

On the other hand, I agree with tsipple that Mary Landrieu could make a good VP (and also with Carlos about Bill Richardson, if only because he is Hispanic and from AZ).

3. Richardson is from new mexico
Graham probably coudn't win Florida for Dean. All of the candidates who have a chance at winning the nom right now(Dean, Kerry, Edwards, Gephardt) are liberal on some issues and moderate on others. It's just that the issues Dean choses to place emphasis on his campaign on, are ass-backwards for winning a national election against Bush.

The primary issue he'd lose on is something which already happened, and he cannot change, which illustrates how retarded it is to nominate him with any veep.
