Rice Claim that no one knew of the CIA warning?
Where did Rice say that those under her were not advised about the uranium from Africa assertion? I remember her saying that no one knew. Now Hadley's admissions make her statement false. Anyone have this one?

1. she's always lying....
said "no one could have predicted that they would fly planes into buildings" as well as the "maybe somewhere down in the bowels of the intelligence community someone knew about the niger documents."

she's pathological. like the rest of them.

2. not the one
I am looking for. She specifically said that no one under her was informed by the intelligent community, a statement that is now false. But I can't find the statement! If I do I will post it.

3. She said it in one of the monday morning talk shows...
...might have been Meet the Press. But the quote above (about the bowels of the agency) is correct, that's what she said, that someone in her bowels might have know, but the warning never "rose" to her attention or some such bs...

4. When Condi goes into that rapid stacatto talk
trying in vainly to make herself heard and believed, you know she's lying. She's done it too many times now. It gets very obvious.

6. Not what you wanted
But I had to laugh when I read this:

CONDOLEEZZA RICE: We clearly know that there were in the past and have been contacts between senior Iraqi officials and members of al-Qaida going back for actually quite a long time.

We know too that several of the detainees, in particular some high ranking detainees, have said that Iraq provided some training to al-Qaida in chemical weapons development.

So, yes, there are contacts between Iraq and al-Qaida. We know that Saddam Hussein has a long history with terrorism in general. And there are some al-Qaida personnel who found refuge in Baghdad.

No one is trying to make an argument at this point that Saddam Hussein somehow had operational control of what happened on September 11, so we don't want to push this too far, but this is a story that is unfolding, and it is getting clear, and we're learning more.

We're learning more because we have a lot of detainees who are able to fill in pieces of the puzzle. And when the picture is clear, we'll make full disclosure about it.

But, yes, there clearly are contacts between al-Qaida and Iraq that can be documented. There clearly is testimony that some of these contacts have been important contacts and there's a relationship here.

7.  "Con" Dolezza also authored the term "traditional hijacking".
She is the master spinner of the White House apologists and the mother of all liars.

9. Is this what you want?
The disclosures punctured claims made by Rice and others in the past two weeks. Rice and other officials had asserted that nobody in the White House knew of CIA objections, and that the CIA supported the Africa accusation generally, making only technical objections about location and quantity. On Friday, a White House official mischaracterized the CIA's objections, saying repeatedly that Tenet opposed the inclusion in Bush's Oct. 7 speech "because it was single source, not because it was flawed."

13. Single sourced is flawed by definition
Isn't that one of the first rules of intelligence?
