This is really great stuff. People care about this kind of thing. Remember when online commerce first came out and everyone was completely freaked out about shopping on unsecure servers, etc.?? People are still largely distrustful of the electronics involved in everyday purchases...they've seen their groceries come up the wrong price on scanners, seen wrong charges on their computer generated phone bills....this will resonate with voters especially when we pull into election season this fall.

I love the timing of not only Bev Harris' efforts but the concurrent efforts of other citizens who want to shut off any massive frauds in voting before they can be perpetrated.

Yesterday I forwarded the letter written by ? to all my state and local officials (Our county is in the process of buying machines), and have received requests for additional information. This "mainstream" article, citing John Hopkins, will complement Bev Harris' research nicely--perhaps allowing the rest of our country to give Bev her due credibility.
