so davis becomes the fall guy for enron and this crummy bush economy?
what the hell is going on here. how did issa get this far?

can't these bums win an election in the normal fashion?

they win and they stifle dissent, they lose and call for impeachments (clinton)--they lose california and they want a recall.

us dems need to toughen up and stop being so complacent--these diaper wearing gop leaders can't handle losing like "men".

1. You called this one exactly right........
The dems and Davis are taking the fall for the energy scandals.

It's reprehensible!

2. Does Davis ever speak of Enron in his defense?
This is too much of a nightmare to even pay attention to, for me.

Does he ever DEFEND HIMSELF by pointing out what the pukes have done and why they are doing this? Just asking.

3. so far he hasn't
he hasn't been on the attack at all.

if it were me, i would keep enron and the rest of the states that are also taken a beating on the table every day in front of the media.

he has the mike to do so, i don't know he isn't using it.

and after all, he was the only one that called bush and the FERC out and say you aren't doing your job when we were in the midst of the crisis.

unbelievable.

9. How is davis any different than your average Californian? NO one is
blaming the oil cos. NO ONE IS BLAMING THE OIL COS FOR THE FAKE ENERGY CRISIS.

EVERYONE thinks it's DAVIS' FAULT.

4. Yes
And in addition to that, it looks like the recall/election was bought and paid for by ,Republican Congressman Darrell Issa ,your typical republican candidate, a millionaire with multiple criminal convictions. Auto theft and gun possession.

6. and a self-admitted IQ of 101
Yes, he said that in yesterday's NY Times article. Issa himself said he wasn't the brightest and that his IQ was only one point over 100.

8. Aren't politicians judged by how they deal with problems
instead of who caused the problem ?

Hoover did not cause the 1929 depresion but he failed in his policies of dealing with it. He remains a boogyman in democrat speeches to this day for that failure.

Lincoln did not cause the civil war but he was successful in prosecuting the war to its conclusion and reuniting the nation. Now is on Mr Rushmore and regarded on the same level as George Washington.

Pointing fingers won't help Davis. The blame game, even if true, doesn't make his record any the brighter. As an east coaster looking westward, Davis has been a disaster. The Ca dems can save the situation for the party if they act soon but I don't yet see signs of them doing so.
