"Did Hillary steal the show at last night's Democratic event?"
I just heard a bimbo ask that question on FOX-TV. If you say "yes", you are admitting that the others are not the best to run against Bush. They are like the second team. That is what they want people to think. It is not so subtle Repub propaganda. But what would you expect from FOX-TV?

That meme was in play about a half hour after the event was over, already up in print on one of the news sites.

Hillary did a nice bit, but it's just part of the "Hillary is going to run because she outshines all the other Democrats" crap that the RW has been pushing for ages.

Braun, the "mildest" of them, outshined Hillary, as did all the other candidates.

6. Every time I hear Braun I'm amazed...she is a wonder of
a positive delivery and perfect articulateness, plus words I want to hear. I love her. I wish she'd get more microphone opportunities on news networks.

7. Isn't she fantastic?
She's been the most statesmanlike of all of them. I hope her campaign isn't falling apart because I'll miss her.

2. not just Fox
all of whoredom is doing it.

Tweety on MSNBC is constantly obsessing about Hillary.

Anderson Cooper at CNN's Rock the Vote asked a fake question, that didn't get caught, about it. Kerry wisely ignored it completely. :-)

3. hillary brought more people to the event
and allowed the other candidates to "shine". she did a great job.but in no way did she try to take away from others. it seems to me that she really likes the democratic candidates and wants democrats to win in 2004. also, hillary brings ratings and the right wing uses her to raise money. they scare the right wing morons into thinking hillary has a secret plan to become president and impose socialism and other crap. sadly there are people who believe it and give money based on it even if they don't have much money themselves. i am watching some of the jj dinner right now and there is a huge difference in what fox news reported, and what i actually see.

4. I didn't think so at all
If anything she increased the draw for the event which highlighted our candidates.

8. Exactly
From the clips I saw, she brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm but didn't take anything away from the candidates.

10. Nope. As far as I was
concerned, it was a Democratic love fest. Hillary did well and all the candidates did well. The only boos I heard were for the Chimpanzee. The Repukes can't stand to see us having fun while we work.

11. CNN also played it this way
I just got done watching the replay of it, and I don't think she did, however I am decided on a candidate, and was waiting to hear him speak. Maybe undecided voters need to share their opinions.

Also, I am not one of those who want to draft Hillary - she also voted to let Bush invade Iraq.
