Bush and Clinton working in tandem
http://www.insightmag.com/main.cfm/include/detail/storyid/257504.html

Clinton was Bush-lite -

Oklahoma was his 911 which allowed him to pass legislation to give the FBI more powers and they both allow technology to flow freely to the only country that is capable of intimidating the U.S.

1. This publication is the newsmag of the Moonie Washington Times

which causes me to doubt its credibility. The Times is all about building Bush* up and tearing Clinton down. I agree that Clinton did things that should be questioned but I don't trust the Moonie Times.

8. but isn't it really, really interesting
that they might be trying to build Bush's cred - by linking his actions to Clintons'... which means they are ceding credibility to Clinton in a wierd sort of way.

2. Okay....
From the "About Us" portion of that site: "Insight on the News is a national biweekly newsmagazine published in Washington by the Washington Times Corp. As Newsweek is the sister publication of the Washington Post, Insight is the sister publication of the Washington Times."

I'm sure I'm going to believe anything the sister publication of the Moonie WT says. :eyes:

I'm not saying Clinton always did the right thing in every circumstance. I'm not even saying that I agree with everything he did or tried to do. But I do believe that over all, he did better for this country and the world than any Bush ever did or tried to do!

3. Thank goodness someone started another Clinton is Evil thread!
We haven't had over fifteen or twenty of them today, and frankly I was getting worried we might run out soon.

5. *lol*
I agree.

What's with that, anyway? A new weapon of mass distraction?

4. Bill Clinton's agenda - Hillary in 2008
from the February 17, 2003 issue

A darker scenario was suggested by a Democratic lobbyist who described "Team Clinton" scurrying around Washington, setting up independent money pots and "issue" fronts to pre-empt other voices and to define the broad agenda for 2004 in Clinton's New Democrat terms. The ultimate objective, in this scenario, is to prepare the ground for Senator Hillary Clinton's eventual run for the presidency (when Mr. Bill might return to the White House as First Spouse). This insider chatter sounds melodramatic and way ahead of the story, but it's not exactly paranoid fantasy. The Clinton circle is busy building things.

If a Democrat is elected in 2004, Hillary can't run until 2012, if then.

6. is anyone else starting to find the Clintons extremely annoying?
I'm more than ready to "move on," away from my delusional support for them.
