Bev Harris, Katherine Harris, Coincidence?
Not in the name but in the publication that launches Bev's first volley..... "Scoop".

Here's what I'm getting at... Scoop reports that K. Harris was killed in a plane crash on the very day it publicizes the Bev Harris story.

If the K. Harris story (written by Tom Flocco) proves to be bogus then it surely will have an effect on Scoops credibility. Hence the credibility of the Bev Harris story.

Something stinks here!

4. I heard on Doug Stephan's radio show...
that K.Harris was manifested to be on the plane that crashed, but did not board.

So story may not have been a complete hoax.

2. Dirty Pool
It definitely seems like some dirty pool. I'm terribly disappointed that they (Scoop) would allow this. They should have more editorial oversight.

3. Yep, if the message is true and damaging
Then go for the jugular on the messenger.

This story will now be dropped because the "messenger lacks credibility", not because the story is false.

Bastards did the same thing to sooooo many truthtellers.

6. Or perhaps...
"Scoop" is not a very credible website in the first place. That's what my first reaction was anyway.

I have never heard of this site before, and at first glance I wasn't particularly impressed with it. I can say this, had I been working feverishly on a big story, "Scoop" out of New Zealand is not the place I'd like to see it run first.

8. About Scoop
Read this:

Introducing Scoop
– unique, refreshing and necessary in world media...

Scoop is a “fiercely independent” press release driven Internet news agency accredited to the New Zealand Parliament Press Gallery and also fed by a multitude of Business, Non-Government-Organisation, Regional Government and Public Relations communication professionals.

Scoop also publishes a variety of raw, unedited material from national and international commentators while producing its own editorial content on important current issues – often giving voice to perspectives not being addressed through “traditional media” sources. ( Click here for editorial contacts and Scoop’s publishing policy).

at..http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/about/

Please read the whole page. They don't do any editing or checking for facts so there is no way to tell if the "news" is true or not.

9. Thanks for the dope on Scoop
I wasn't impressed with the website either. Unfortunately. And I thought the intro they provided for Bev Harris's story very unprofessional and sensationalistic ("the biggest political scandal in history").

I haven't really been following Bev's work, but since her efforts on the BlackBox voting issue is ongoing, it seems like it would be best to simply set up an independent website, then send out press releases with links. Just my two euro cents.

17. If what Bev is working on turns out to be true
and ALL of our suspicions are confirmed; ie intentional republican/evil corporate plot to control the elections and electorate via seemingly harmless almost friendly touch screen voting (Granted, this is the worst of all possible incarnations)mandated by the BFEE

I'd say THAT would qualify as "one of the biggest political scandals in history", wouldn't you? This hardly seems "sensationalistic" to me.

7. They place plenty of caveats . .
They state first off in front of the story -

EDITOR'S NOTE: The following link has been published as it is breaking news and, very clearly, a huge scoop if true. That said at this stage there is clearly no confirmation of its veracity. The Scoop Editors encourage readers readers to follow the link where they will see that Tom Flocco contacted the office of the Congresswomen and received a very strange answer from the person who answered the phone.

The story itself starts off with - "According to a source who refused to be named in this story, . . .

They are just printing Flocco's story with a lot of precautions - well stated in my opinion. I see nothing wrong with that and I don't think it reflects on the Black Box issue at all.

15. 40,000 files from Diebold
Scoop put them out into the wild last night.

Ultimately, those files will tell a story independent of any "messenger."

16. Get the word out !!!
Hi Bev
I am in the process of sending the link for your story to all media, county elections boards, politicians, etc in Ohio that I can get by e-mail. Isn't this what all Duers should be doing right now? And if so, I think you should make a clarion call for this right now.

Thanks for all you do......
