Then, the suits told him what he'd say. Bray to the extreme white males who hate everybody who isn't a white male. He says women inflict damage on themselves in order to frame men for domestic abuse. He loathes black people. He lied daily about Cynthia McKinney. He's ill-informed and lazy. He doesn't do homework. He gets by on total blather. But that's fine for his audience; they're as lazy and uneducated as he is.

from his perspective. Remember, he can only define America in his own terms. He wants, I'm sure, no public ed., no social security, no health care, etc.--all things Democrats hold dear. He sees public ed. as a secular, state run church, a communisitc brainwashing factory. The Democrats, to this guy, are the enemies from within, which is always more dangerous than the enemies on the outside. Al Qaida actually has helped to empower the repubs., arming them with the rhetoric of fear. Democrats are clearly a bigger threat to this guy's America. They want to strip the repubs. of power.

So, yes, Democrats are more of a threat to this "nation" (as defined by Neil Boortz) to Neil Boortz than Al Qaida.

Boortz is ostensibly a Libertarian that hates "big government." Although he occasionally chastizes religious extremists, Boortz is another one of these self-styled "independent thinkers" that talks a lot about how objective they are, but excoriates liberals all the time. The independent or alternate party label is used to give a sense of objectivity or to avoid the lack of "coolness" with being associated with the right.

I've never heard the idiot. But I'm sure he's just like Limbaugh, and idiot with a tiny (average of a 1 or less share) audience of almost exclusively white, middle aged, suburban guys. In spite of his consistently low ratings, Limbaugh is able to stay on the air because the corporations are eager to sponsor him to see that their preferred message continues to get out. Liberal Randi Rhodes gets MUCH higher ratings and they still refuse to syndicate her show.

It is a falsehood that limbaugh has many listeners. For example, in Philly, his average arbitron is about a .7, or .7 percent of the listening audience. It skyrocketed to 1.2 during the war buildup according to this report:

Michael Weiner Savage had a 0 rating at KGO when they canned his dumb ass, and his ratings on MSNBC were the worst on the network. Donahue had the highest ratings on the network, and they canned him to please the missile makers at GE.

Apparently you're under the impression that everyon here's on welfare or food stamps or something? I can only speak for myself, but I've never been unemployed for more than a week in my life, and I've worked through two Bush recessions now. I'm not wealthy, but I pay my own way, thnk you. I am poor enough that I know a lot of people where a coupl have two or three jobs between them and can barely get by because the pay is so crap. I'm a democrat because I want a strengthened labor movement and a strengthened economy, so that they can get ahead a little. Also, a decent minimum wage.
