Congressman David Drier is Bill Clinton's new best friend
Edited on Wed Jul-23-03 06:22 PM by Armstead
At least that's what you'd think watching him on Buchanan and Press. He must have quoted Mr. Clinton's call to forget about this little matter of the pre-war "mistake" 10 times in an appearance.

So did Pat Buchanan, who has suddenly decided he's a Republican again.

I'd say Mr. Bush's little mistake is being put well behind us. I hope George B. remembers to call Bill Clinton and thank him tonite. And now that the war has suddenly "turnerd for the better" I guess we can just forget this whole messy little affair.

I am so glad George Bush is our president. He can do no wrong. We've learned that again. We just have to have faith in him and it will all turn out alright.

(sarcasm off.)

1. Clinton, a Republican in Democratic clothing.

Why doesn't he just go back to Arkansas and leave us alone? He's going to KILL the fucking party if he keeps this crap up.

3. Clinton's problem has been, and always will be...
...that he speaks off the cuff too often--a prime example is this mess where what he MIGHT have meant is lost and people say he's pardoning Dumbo.

4. Take heart
The Dems are not letting this go. Quoting Clinton doesn't change anything.

5. But it does hurt our cause.
Being the last elected Dem president is now stating Bush's LIE was nothing. This'll be thrown in our faces for a long time. Thanks Bill!

7. I don't think it hurts our cause
The Repubs have been denigrating him for years and now he's their saviour? That makes them look like major hypocrites desperate to hang their hat on something. And the Dems can simply say they disagree with Clinton. And now the issue is no longer strictly partisan.

6. Perhaps Bill is using reverse psychology?
Edited on Wed Jul-23-03 06:42 PM by rfranklin
How can Bill Clinton be the source of affirmation for any Republican? He is a lier, a murderer, a drug pusher, a traitor and a pervert. They told me so.

ON EDIT: I forgot, Bill Clinton is a scumbag too. According to the Watermelon Man.
