I must admit that I know nothing good or bad about Biden. I mention her as an example of how a moderate TV-educated (as oxymoronic as that is) Democrat. My dad likes Wesley Clark. My mom doesn't think Clark has enough experience.
I told her that I like Dean, and she called him "that rich arrogant guy", and repeated the media story that "he doesn't answer questions." A couple things the Dean campaign might want to work on - those perceptions.
My mom also likes Tucker Carlson, and she had never heard the story of the shoe. She knows Carlson from the Reader's Digest where he writes a column called "That's Outrageous". I mentioned that Carlson's latest column was actually kinda left wing. He wrote: "Though necessary in rare cases, eminent domain has become the weapon of first resort for cash-hungry government, a tool of greedy bureaucrats serving the interests of greedy developers." That sounds like a complaint about corporate controlled government to me, although true to his ideology he "blames government first" rather than blaming the corporations.

1. Biden is a washed-up has-been

who's given us nothing but messing up big time at the Clarence Thomas hearings and the RAVE Act. Carlson appeared to blame both the government and the business in that latest column, although lately he's whined about men being portrayed negatively in commercials.

Puke Bucket candidates are those who, if nominated, I would require a noseclip adn a puke bucket to get through voting for in the general election.

I applaud you for still saying you would vote for him if he got the nomination.

Save your nose clip for others, I'm doubting Joe Biden is even going to join the race and if he does I don't think he'll come close to the nomination.

Personally, I love Joe Biden and I'm damn proud to have him as my senator - flaws and all. Then again, I've had 6 years of Rick Santorum so I'll even say the same about my moderate, DLC waffling dem Tom Carper.

But I'll keep on their asses when it comes to the issues. I should preprint envelopes with their addresses on to save on the Carpel Tunnel of all the letters I write.

However, this DE gal is committed to Howard Dean for the election; although I'd support Biden in a heartbeat if he got the nomination (or Dean dropped out).

Personally, I don't think Biden is going to run. I've heard his family isn't too keen on this (he's had some health issues) and I feel he's too similiar to Kerry who has a greater headstart for the nomination (another great guy).
