When did the embed journalist program start their actual training?

I have loooked all over google, but I cannot seem to find the month when they started their training.. I remember seeing the film of it on c-span, but the film showed them well into the training.. It did not look very cold out when the film was taken.. The "war" started in March??right??

The govt paid to train all these "newspeople", and the fact that they were in active training for an event that was supposedly not even decided until a few days before (ha!) is very telling.. I am trying to get a timeline together for an article..

anyone have some clippings or dates for me??
