Should the soldiers who slew the Hussein Bros. get a share
of the $30 mill? Some Iraqi schleps in with an address
& grabs $30 mill & the special forces who killed them get
jack? Is that democracy? Is that capitalism? Is that
justice?

IF IT CAN BE PROVED THAT IT WAS REALLY SADDAM'S sons who were killed, until we know that for sure I'm not at all thrilled with this.

2. No, they were doing their jobs
nother more; nothing less.

The guy who tipped them off should be the one to apply for the $$.

3. No
They simply acted on the tip. Cops don't get a share of reward money just because they arrest a perp at an address a tipster provided.

Capitalism and justice has nothing to do with it.

6. What do I get ?
It is my money that paid for the weaponry (and training) that was used to kill them. Where is my share?

I believe the reward is for information leading to .... blah blah blah
Not for the individuals who execute (pun intended) the deed based on the information.

You can bet that the informant (if there was one), will not get a FUCKING dime. Rewards are always awashed in rules that essentially make it impossible to collect them.

Besides, I think I have already heard that the military already knew where they were (yeah, right), and that the tipster only confirmed what they already knew.

No surprises there.

Cheers
Drifter

8. I'm outraged that some Iraqi would get 30 mil and a free pass to Ameirca!
I am NOT a fan of Saddam or Uday or Qusay (who the hell but a madman would name their children that?) but this kind of bounty is silly except for someone who dosent' care if they waste taxpayer money.

11. Who said
he gets a free pass to America?
If he does, with $30 mill in his pocket,
I wonder how long it'll be before he starts
bragging about it on some bar stool in Peoria.

12. They should testify at Bush's war crimes trial
Bush murders his enemies in order to distract the world's attention from the death of the British WMD mole and the increasing likelihood that he committed real crimes in lying to the world and the American people about his pathological need to invade Iraq and take their oil.

If these people were so evil, they should have been tried and convicted in court. To resort to the same methods we condemn makes us just like them.

Bush shows us that he murders and tortures his enemies, he invades other countries to annex their natural resources, he lies to his own people to scare them into supporting his mad military adventurism, and he loots his own country to reward his rich corporate friends for supporting him.

Amnesty International isn't too damn happy with Bush the warmonger, either.

http://web.amnesty.org/library/eng-usa/index

Under the Bush standard, when one country murders and tortures its enemies, it means that other countries are justified in invading that country and changing its leadership. Or does that only apply when it's someone else?
