In all the posts I've read regarding outsourcing I don't think I've seen A SINGLE ONE that said only whites in this country should get the high-tech-high-paying jobs.

Last time I checked (in 2000) this country was made up of Blacks, Whites, Native Americans, Hispanics, Asians and hell for all I know even Extra-terestrials.

But wait, even though we don't care that any race in this country keeps their jobs, we are racists because we don't want "people of color" in other countries to get "our" jobs.

The argument that "people who oppose outsourcing are racists" has to be the single most idiotic argument in favor of the practice that I have heard thus far.

1. It's just a cheap smear

It looks like the recent annoucements by IBM and Microsoft have waken people up to the outsourcing issue, and the DLC-types were unprepared for a bunch of angry DU posts about corporate power.

Look like some of us have woken up, and I bet the DLC is shaking in their boots at the thought of a progressive rebellion in the Democratic party - what will the DLC do without all of their corporate campaign money?
