Rangel receives Standing-O
from both sides of the aisle, following his speech regarding the recent Thomas/police incident. Go Charlie!

3. Rangel
demanded more mature behavior, the right to view bills in an appropriate time and manner, and above all, a showing of respect for the House as an institution. He also said the American people want legislation passed more than they want to see silly police incidents, so the House ought to get back on track. Rep. Rangel is right, the House is revered by nations worldwide, and at home, and so those who are privileged to work there ought to show more appreciation for the body and the history of the institution.
