For the life of me I just can't figure out what Americans are supposed to move to next now that the service industry is leaving too.

Actually I think this is mainly a monetary problem right now. The dollar is overvalued and Asia is addicted to their cheap currencies and exports. The system is going to collapse, not unpainfully, within the next 10-15 years.
