Ha, Ha..Bush Scews the Democrats and Dean is a Wussy!!!!! Losers...
...and that is what I was hit in the face with at about 12:30 p.m. est. as I clicked on to the “news”....and a very “rude” microphone was shoved in Howard Dean‘s face. The whore media was in orgasmic thralls regarding the possible frying of Saddam’s sons, the Jessica comes home story, and the bastard French have their “tower” on fire. I knew they would jump at the first opportunity to kiss Bush ass after a week of attacks on their hero.

The Dean interview totally fried me. Here are these fuckers who never talk to a Dem, cannot find one, and will not report anything a Dem has to say; BUT they found Howard “live” in minutes. While, of course, the reporter in no way ever said these words, this is basically the gist of it since the innuendo was so thick you could cut it with a knife:

Yo, Liberal scumbag....whatcha’ think now, liberal scumbag??? Georgie has slain the evil brothers; no one cares about his “lies”; everyone loves our beloved president again; and whatcha’ have to say about you liberal, pantywaist opposition to this absolutely glorious war, liberal scumbag...huh??? Dean did an excellent job. He stuck to his message. BUT, there was something missing and I felt it in my gut. Perhaps it was a little less enthusiasm, a little less confidence, a reluctance to not go too far..whatever. But it was there. I don’t blame him. He’s a politician and he knows when the other guy has landed a punch. But here is what I am so, so dreadfully concerned about:

You can bet that the next polls because of all this “amazing stuff” (I’ll refrain from commenting on the “amazing” part), will have Bush back up about 10 points to mid-60’s. I hope these Dems don’t freeze, go into hiding, refrain from criticizing Bush and couch their words. If they do, they are dead. They have to press forward on the LIES and keep pounding because this momentary spurt will also pass. I’m so afraid that they will freak, backpeddle and pander. They cannot....they simply cannot. And Howard’s body language haunts me tonight (don’t go there Howard, don’t go there).

4. Darlin', maybe they are doing it on the poltical shows which no one
except people like us watch; but that is NOT the message they were hying all during the day. They are trying to substitute the two bros for any objection to lies, distortions, etc. Hubby, the non political one, was watching with me and he made the same obervation---they are out to roast Dems today. When they found "Howard" in like 10 minutes, when they couldn't find one goddamn Dem for 2 and a half years, and they assaulted him like they did....well, you fill in the blanks. I'm sure the taling heads will entertain us all. But, what did M/M America obsorb today??

7. Starpass, that's all part of the WH counterattack
I don't think the Dems are going to back down. They're in this for the long haul. BTW, I'm not so sure Bush will get much of a bounce from this, especially if the soldiers continuing dying in Iraq. If there is a bounce it will be short-lived.

Everyone was at work during the day. By the time people settled down to watch the nightly news the Uday-Qusay thing got equal coverage with Iraq-Lie-Gate.

Don't be so pessimistic. This is like the 46th time these two died. Along with Chemical Ali, Saddam, and them, they've died like 591 times.

2. Nah...the teflon is more than chipped, Starpass.
Outing the CIA agent for political vindictiveness will turn out worse for BushInc. than that aircraft carrier landing.

3. It boggles my mind that murdering the two sons of the former
dictator of Iraq (as awful as they may have been) is anything to crow about. I thought we used to try criminals before we executed them. Are people still thinking they caused 9/11? :eyes:

Then again, I'm a stranger in my own country these days. :-(

8. I don't trust the "timing" of these clowns and convenience of bodies
burnt beyond recognition. But dead bodies seems to be a speciality of the Bush administration....easier to come up with than WMD's, you know.

6. Can someone answer this question for me--
Edited on Tue Jul-22-03 07:16 PM by Starpass
Last night I read here that Wilson (is that his name) was going to do a big outing of Bush on the Today show and bitch about the outing of his wife as CIA agent, etc. Did it happen?---'cause there was squat nothing on it on CNN and MSNBC or CNN Headline news or on their ticker. Instead I got the treat I mentioned above. Did it ever take place. Hell if I'm looking FOR it and couldn't find it, then what ever got through to the general public?? What gives---did it take place today??

10. Dean was scheduled to be on at noon
according to his blog. The Circus pre-empted him so I tuned out and missed him, darn it. I'm just glad to hear he was on at all. He has pulled to the front in CA, as of a poll today.

Dean was saying his usual criticisms of the war, etc. But--it's hard to explain---he knew he had to tone things down. You could see the "think fast" on his face as these clowns pressed him because they were trying to spin this as if WMD's were found, Saddam was hung in the public square, the nukes were found, Bush was found to be truly god's son, etc. Get the picture. I was not disappointed at all in what he said; but he knew he could not be so totally agressive with the two dead bros and the supposedly extra special celebrations for Jessica because of the two dead bros. And the reporter and the scum anchor knew they had 'scored'---probably get bonuses in their checks.
