Theres more dangers for the United States than just the Middle East

To:
President George Bush

November 2, 2003

President Bush,
There are external dangers to our precious country but I would like to bring to everyones attention the internal danger that has been lurking in our government buildings and in our courts and in our schools. This danger is known as the Democrats. They will stop at nothing to get their power back and I mean nothing. They have proven this time and time again as they have trodden our Constitution in the mud!!! They believe that they are above the law. If we let them continue to hold this country hostage by their rogue tatics then we will be a Socialist nation within the very short future. You Mr. President, need to stop trying to work with the Democrats and do what you were elected to do by the power of the people. The Republicans are in charge, so act like it.

10. Talking Points
The out of power "Power Mad Dems" label is one of the multitude of labels that hate radio puts on us. Idiots believe this deception. Lemming morans are far too easily manipulated.

14. Strangled by a string of pearls. Not a bad way to go, I suppose ;-)
To hell with those bastards. I'm 62, by many lights an official Old Phart and there really ain't much they can do to me at this point. When I was 15, I was sure I'd live to be 100. A few years later as I began to really think about important stuff like life and death, politics, who would win the world series, and which necktie to wear, it dawned on me that living to 80 would be miraculous. By the time I got to be 30, I seriously doubted I'd make it to see the new millennium. But I did, and it was oddly enough just like every other year.

And I was a "conservative" from my beginnings to about 18 years of age. Long story, paternal influence and youthful callowness. And baptized in a christian church. The story is way too long, but I got over those delusional times.

It strikes my family and friends "odd" that I should even -care- about
the state of the world; I have no children and as an atheist no interest in imaginary after-life scenarios. And often I wonder myself why I should give a ratz...because I recognize that the universe will someday either go cold and dead or collapse on itself (another discussion but no other alternatives have been proposed) so what the hell difference does anything really make anyway?

It may be that the lyrics of an old Queen song represent the ultimate, if less than happy truth "nothing really matters..."

There are some "pro-Bush*" etc. etc. but the majority are by people who are REALLY, REALLY, REALLY UPSET. Here it goes:

It's time for a REAL President
A President should unite the country, not divide it. A President should do the right things for the country, not what is personally justifying to himself. A President should take the responsibilty when he screws up, and not point the finger, (the middle one) at everyone who disagrees with him. A President should be impeached if he fails to tell the truth, regarding sending our troops to be killed, based on his lies. A President should never have the last name of Bush. period.

Fiscal conservative are moving away from Bush because of his spending

Supporters of the war are moving away because of the deceptions used to start it
Party repubs are moving away because they are starting to see he will not be an asset in the congressional and state elections.

The religious right is even moving away because he isn't acting in a Christian, charitable and humane manner.

So lots of people are moving away and people, once disillusioned do not move back.

Even his corporate friends are feeling the heat and moving away

On the other hand I haven't heard of anyone who was originally against Bush, the war, etc. who has been convinced that he was right all along and are now backing him.

The only ones who still seem to backing him are either those brainwashed by the ongoing mantra designed to appeal to their fear and/or greed or the true believers.

So why are there true believers? After WWII my father worked in intelligence in Germany trying to sort out the Nazis from the innocents. He said that people had a hard time letting go of their beliefs because the power of working for a cause allows you to say and do things that are repugnant to your personal sensibilities.

Letting go of those beliefs means you have to deal with the mean spirited and hateful and evil things you did. That is hard, so people hang on…

Jealous of of Our Success....
To:
President George Bush
November 2, 2003

As Mr Nethercut said "just a few soldiers a day", how many is a few. Today there were at least 15. We are tired of hearing about your success in Iraq. Are you proud of yourself, Mr AWOL (deserter) Air Guard? Mr it wasn't my idea Mission Accomplished. Your people running this so called abomination from the White House do not have a clue about how to run anything, much less a war.

Mr Rummy's plan to invade was a classic. He got lucky. It contained all of Napoleon and Hitler's mistakes about overstretching supply lines and bypassing combat troops for a single goal Bagdad. You relieved the General who said he needed food, water, ammo, and fuel to continue the charge. What was he going to do? Throw rocks. When the enemy fought back, Rummy said it wasn't fair. How is it you can't fight back against an invader. Progress.

You took Bagdad, chased Sadam into hiding and what did you do to secure the country? You sent in weapons inspectors to hunt for the nonexistent WMDs. They should have been used to blow up the 2,500 ammunition dumps that were known to exist. No, they were left unguarded and ignored. The first rule of occupation is secure all the weapons. Your Army didn't. Progress.

Earlier this week, 39 people were killed in 4 coordinated car bomb attacks. Before that, UN headquarters was bombed killing 20. The UN is pulling out to Cyprus, the Red Cross and other NGOs are pulling out as well. Success.

Today a helicopter was shot down with weapons from those unsecured ammo dumps and Mr Bremer was quoted saying that he didn't know where they got the weapons. Huh? Another sucess.

Your no bid contractors have no oversight and are pocketing over 75% of their payments into their corporate coffers. Very little money is being invested in Iraqi infrastructure. Leaglized looting of our tax dollars and another country's future. Progress.

Mr. "Bring Em On" needs to go to the front line and face the enemy "Jawbone to Jawbone" if he wants a fight that badly. You are a bully Sir, not deserving of respect of any kind and need to be treated like the petulant child you are. After all Mama needs to protect you from those democrats who call you names. Success Hardly.

Bush tell your photographers that those photos of you with the halos around your head and the ones with the religious tones are about the most disgusting and outrageous propaganda I've seen. Seems this administration will try anything to make your cult followers believe you are ???Jesus???? God????. Still some people are left in America that aren't susceptible to your propaganda. Why not come clean with America and put on your devil horns? Anything you do gives Christianity a BAD NAME. I wouldn't want to be even closely associated with you, in the name of Christianity. You and your administration are the death squad for America and for Christianity as a whole. Raping America and the world. Saddam may seem like an Angel after you and your administration get done with the world. Both you and Saddam are like 2 peas in a pod. Both of you after the same thing power, wealth and control of all. Sounds a lot like Hitler and the Nazi Party. Just another 2 bit Antichrist out working for the devil!

I have just one question for you. there is a rumor that you deserted your guard unit. is this true if you don't reply to this email then i will consider you a deserter and vote for anyone but you. I served for 13 years in the Marine Corps and the Kansas Guard. I consider this issue very serious. If the rumor is not true you will not have a more loyal follower.

16. I've really been wondering about that. All I can think of is a pile of
dog shit. It has value, but only as fertilizer for something brand new.
What comes up can be pigweed or roses. I suppose we will see.

20. as a fundamentalist, hell is the thing they believe in the most
That is why Bush is trying to create one on this planet.

I am sure Mrs. Bush was speaking about rhetorical death, but wouldn't that make a great Ted Rall cartoon?

Panel one: Neighbor holds up a ball and says "your son broke my window"

Panel two: Mrs. Bush blows him away with a shotgun.

Panel three: Your son is failing English (it must have happened).

Panel four: Mrs. Bush pulls out a couple of pistols and blasts away, saying "how dare you criticize my son."

Panel five: Your son is AWO ... um, never mind (as Mrs. Bush starts to pull out an Uzi)

Explains alot doesn't it?

I'd do it myself, but I can't draw as well as Ted (and that's saying something). How about it Ted?
