If Dean referred to a Swastica, would you defend it?

The Confederate flag is the symbol flown by every racist, skinhead, KKK group in America, it is NO different to a Swastica. Southern pride or not, it is seen as a symbol of hate by Black and other minorities in America. It is one of the many symbols which breathe insecurities into the young. Why some DUers believe the people who wear this symbol should be a group for a candidate to embrace is sickening. The funny thing is the minute you replace the Confederate flag with a Swastica flag, it becomes almost illegal. In Germany, it is not tolerated to wear a Swastica on a truck. We will sell our soul and principles to attract a few extra votes. We are weak and the defense of this Confederate flag flop is proof of this weakness, we have no backbone. Just last year, we were complaining about Bush’s silence during the Confederate flag debate in Georgia's elections and here we are now embracing this same symbol, hypocrisy at its worse!

It's apples and oranges in the degree of severity, but they both really suck. He shouldn't have even talked about those damn flags, it will drag the democrats down...
