I think the "recovery" will go flat
Here's why:

1. The rw media is returning to that euphoric late '90s-like state. They're clearly exaggerating this recovery.

2. I heard that the Nasdaq is up 30% this year. Expect Tech Wreck II, hopefully next summer/fall.


3. Greenspan will raise rates, just like he did in 1999.

6. It all depends on how you measure it.
Bush and friends will find ways to show that the recovery is strong. Other indicators will show recession ahead. I doubt that employment will be strong by next summer, but I'll bet the stock market will be up thanks to Bush's rich friends artificially rigging it. Statistics can be made to tell any story.
