has anyone heard from Arnie?
I am amazed that there still has been nothing--no messages of sympathy, no acknowledgement of the immense suffering and terror Californians are undergoing in this fire--from our governor elect. Doesn't he have a PR staff to even put together a few platitudes?

We know Davis has briefed him so this silence is incomprehensible.

3. guess once the Mr Olympia contest was over in Las Vegas
he was free to come back to begin to deal with the crisis.

Seriously, I would guess that he had a prior (financial) agreement and it would have cost $ to get out of it. One has to wonder, since his decision to run came so late - and the odd circumstances hand him power so quickly, if he has other financial arrangements/commitments that he has made that will prevent him from being on the scene to deal with future crises.

5. I'm enjoying...
his silence. Not looking forward to having to see or hear him, even though I know he'll just be the photo-op kid. Pete Wilson is really the old/new governator.Arrrrgh!

8. The fires haven't affected the exclusive
gated community where Ahnold lives, so why the hell should he care?

I think Kalli-fornyuns are in for a rude awakening when they realize they've elected a multi-millionaire
who knows nothing about this state, its geography, history, people, industries, etc.

All Ahnold knows a little about is reciting lines written by somebody else. That much won't change, only now the head scriptwriter will be Rove.
