Any DUers in the territory of the SoCal wildfires
NBC news is showing the people being mandatorily evacuated (which by the way, I have a major problem with. NO government entity EVER will order me from my home).

The fire was set by an arsonist, NBC has reported. If anybody dies, this person should be charged with murder, and whatever penalty that entails.

1. About 12 Miles From My Home.
Last year the Claremont/LaVerne fire came to within 0.8 mile from my house.

The smoke is worse from this one as the winds are southwestward where the winds were northeastern last year. The entire Pomona Valley is filled with nasty air.

3. Was near Fontana yesterday.
Was pulling up to a traffic light when it went out. I guess they shut down the power because of the fire. I was out there for around an hour visiting a vendor. When I left the power was still not on. Ash was falling like snow.

Thank the Gods that the Santa Ana winds have blown as strong as some years. Devil winds for sure.

2. I'm on the LA/Ventura County line
and even though my neighborhood is fine, smoke is blowing over from fires 40 miles away. The sky is yellow.

8. In 47' they had just awful fires here in Me and NH.
I thought everyone was going to be burned. We went to a live in school in NH and we could see the fires all around us, then my mother picked us up to go home and the police were flagging us throught towns as they were burning. One we got home we could look Down East towards Kennebunkport and that was all on fire(We lived on a point that went out in the ocean) My father was off on bus. and in his truck and he did not come home for days as the grabbed anyone with a truck. It was very scary and to day you can still see where it burned and the small towns are still filled with over grown celler holes. The town my grandmother grew up in lost 600 building. A small town in maine.I guess I will never for get it. I thought the world was on fire. I do feel for these people.
