Should DU have a one day a week moratorium on "Deleted Messages"?

Sometimes its entertaining as well insightful regarding the other side and mindset, to actually be able to read the spewing opinions from the other side.
Yes they can be irrutatingly obnoxious at times, but perhaps one day a week can we be amused by the rantings of the whacko right.

3. You skewed the poll when you put 'free speech' in one question and

'censor' in another. You can't have a neutral poll on the question when you include such emotionally loaded buzzwords.

Some people are going to respond as if you asked "Are you in favor of censorship or free speech?" whereas that is not obstensibly your question.

I guess that's what they mean by a 'push-poll' -- it pushes people towards one answer.

4. Another Suggestion:

Mods post a weekly "Deleted Message Greatest Hits" thread in the Lounge - collecting the best of them and putting them all in one place - out of context, after the fact, and not open to live debate/flame.

6. How about a compromise?

Rather than letting idiots threadjack important discussions even one day a week, why don't we let the mods compile some of the "Best of the Worst" and put them up every so often in a variation of the DU mailbag?

Like you, I often wonder what it is I'm missing from those deleted posts -- but not enough to actually let them disrupt the threads.
