IMO it just makes Bush look pathetic.

Her Family: "You can criticize me, but don't criticize my children and don't criticize my daughters-in-law and don't criticize my husband, or you're dead."

The Democrats: "It gets a little old when 10 grown men run around the country not talking about what they're going to do, but knocking my precious, courageous, brilliant son. That's a mother speaking."

He needs his mom to defend him? WTF? I got over that in like first grade!

1. She is the source of the evil in the BFEE
In my humble opinion. She and the nannies raised that pathetic brood of hers. I've always felt that the grandmotherly image was a fraud and beneath it was a horrible, ruthless, bitter human being.

3. I concur...but would add that Bush has plenty of evil himself.
Where did Franklin Pierce go so horribly wrong that a descendent of his could be as horrid as Barb Bush? Maybe we should learn more about Franklin Pierce.

8. Pierce was an alcoholic..
He backed the Kansas-Nebraska Act,and was considered such a failure that his own party refused to back him for re-election in 1856,going with James Buchanan instead.

2. Ummmmm.....Babs???
One of those "10 grown men" is actually a woman.

I know that in YOUR family women don't get to do anything except look pretty (well, they don't even get to do that in your family), but the Dems DO allow women to run (and pssst.....sometimes black people get to run too).
