Has anyone else notice that the repugs are putting up their B team?
I have noticed recently on all the political talk shows that the person on the right to defend * and the thugs is always some "noname"...someone from the "B" team.

Case in Point: Today on Buchannon and Press, on the repug side was Duncan Hunter who was very lame in trying to defend *.

Now why haven't they put the "A" team on these shows. Could it be that no A player wants to take a stance.....trouble for *, I would say.

The only high-profile regpugs have been Hagel and McCain. And Hagel, for one, is taking the offensive on *.

1. That's interesting, caledesi! I don't watch those shows anymore
but am glad to hear DU2ers reactions to them.

Logically they should have the A team out. It's either calculated or they don't know what they're doing ...either way it sounds like a winner for Democracy!
:kick:

4. I just started watching again bec of SOTU stuff...
But it did occur to me and my husband, "hey who are these (repug) people, never heard of them before this."

They must be desparate.

2. i think you are correct
hagel has been lots of fun to watch, and a few dem seem to have found their spines.

my first comment on dean-

dean is hot because he says things the base of the party likes. he says some things lots of dems dont like. and he dosn't say me too. most people would rather have bush than some shrinking violet who refuses to even irritate a repuke. dean opposes bush, he is not bush light.

i think dean is about to pull a clinton on jr and the dems. he kicked repuke ass when kicking repuke ass wasn't cool

7. Hagel representing the 'A' teem
Hagel could be on the way out anyway. when the Black Box Voting scandel breaks and the public finds out he owns part the company that counted all his votes the last 2 elections, and and 60% of all votes in the nation, and FLORIDA. he didnt report all his involvement in the voting machine company to the ethics committee. type in 'Senator Hagel voting machines', lots of info.
